I began in the child care field at the age of 11. I started babysitting at 12. I have watched other people's children from the age of 3 days to 15. I have a son of my own who is almost 4, but will be in care of his own. He started his journey as a NICU baby born at 34 weeks, so I have that experience as well. I went back to school at Texas Woman's University, through which I plan to further my education in the field of teaching. I am a year away from finishing my double Masters, one in teaching and one in Deaf Education. I have been a speech therapist for 50+ children a week in the schools for 6 years now and looking to transition into teaching. I look forward to lining up some part time gigs and summer jobs!
