About Elizabeth

Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher, I have taught for 10 years ranging from infants through 1st grade. I have my B. S. in Early Childhood Education (birth-3rd grade) with a minor in Special Education and concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I just graduated with my M. S. in Reading Education (K-12) this spring. Reading is my passion and I have made it my mission to help students learn to read and hopefully, love reading as well. It breaks my heart to see students move through middle and upper grades as struggling readers so I hope to help students in the early grades be successful so they can have the tools they need to be successful throughout schools. I have worked with students up to third grade and was a tutor at my previous school for 2-3 years in small groups and individual as well as in person and online. I have experiences working with ESL/ELL students as well. I am happy to help with writing and math as well for students (K-2).
