About Elizabeth

Hello families! :) I have a Bachelor's Degree from MSU in Elementary Education & Middle School Education. I worked as a teacher in Springfield for 8 years and also as an academic tutor. I have experience working as a nanny and in church nurseries. I started babysitting little cousins at 12. I'm a mom to a 6 yr old boy and a blessed step-mom to 2 step-daughters who are 8 and 9. I left teaching to have more time to support my kids in school. I'm looking to bring care, support, and love to families looking for a care-giver for their littlest members. I use positive reinforcement and praise to teach positive behavior, including bringing a treasure box to care-giving opportunities. My personality is positive, creative and compassionate. I like working with kids because I love the energy and excitement of little people. I love spending time with my kids. Including outside play, making slime, painting, art projects, board games, Legos, science experiments, SDC and reading to them nightly.
