I've been caring for children since the age of 12. My mother being a single mom and going back to nursing school I had to help raise my three younger brothers ages 2, 3, and 8 at the time. During high school I had the occasional babysitting job here and there. Once I graduated high school I started attending college and got a job at Center. Ive been working there for two years now and work with kids from ages 2-5. Each class has roughly around 15-20 kids and we take care of all of their needs. Some of their needs include changing diapers throughout the day or taking the older kids to the bathroom, learning the alphabet, feeding them snacks and lunch, putting the younger ones down for nap time, and playing with them during outside time. Aside from my daycare job last year I also took care of an individual child 3-4 days out of the week. I would pick her up from school and take care of her until her parents would come home at night.
