About Elenaghislaine

Hi, my name is Ellie! I'm an adoption counselor at the Dane County Humane Society hoping to help some families out in my free time. I love to read and play games. My friends would describe me as compassionate, bright, and imaginative. Kids have such a unique perspective on the world. People of all ages can learn so much from their bright and inquisitive mindset. I think playing a part in supporting a child through critical stages of development is an honor. Plus, honestly, kids are just fun! I'm an adult, but I'm not afraid to play pretend and watch cartoons. I started caring for kids when I was about 14. I had four families that I would regularly babysit for in high school. The children were between 1 and 9 years old. As an adult, I have experience working in a child play center (think Gymboree, but with birds and rabbits) and I was also a primary caretaker of my previous partner's child.
