About Elana

Hi! I'm Elana, an Education student at Lesley University and Substitute Teacher. I have had a passion for helping kids as long as I can remember and I would love to help out with babysitting and tutoring in the local community. I've worked as a nanny, afternoon program counselor, babysitter, Hebrew school teacher, tutor, overnight and day camp counselor, Unit Head, and Community Care Specialist at B'nai B'rith Camp in Lincoln City, OR. As a student working to earn my Elementary & SpEd and licensures, I've had placements in 2 different K-5 Resource Room classrooms and a 4th grade class where I have had the opportunity to study under incredible teachers. I have experience working with kids ages 7mo-16, am skilled in leading large and small groups, am very comfortable with dogs, and love animals. I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified and have received my Elon University Protection of Minors certification. I have had 4 COVID vaccines. My schedule is flexible, so please reach out! lol
