About Elaine

I'm a certified special and general education teacher with a Master's in Education. I've worked with students with disabilities in grades Pre-K to 3, and I'm driven to provide individualized, engaging, accessible, and trauma-informed instruction. My instruction includes routines, visuals, manipulatives, movement, and lots of student choice. I informally specialize in early elementary and elementary reading, as I love teaching students who are targeting early reading skills. I've left the classroom to pursue my PhD, and I am available for in person or zoom tutoring sessions.
