About Edward

I recently moved to NYC from the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue a career in acting. Prior to becoming a full time actor in 2020, I was an Elementary School teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. Now I'd love to work with students again, this time supporting them as a private tutor. Throughout my career, I specialized in working with students with learning challenges. I am very skilled at providing structure and positive motivation and at helping students with IEP's, 504 Plans or other modifications in their educational plans. I have successfully assisted students with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, PTSD and other social/emotional issues that affected their learning. I have an Administrative Credential and have exrensive experience attending IEP meetings can help parents prepare for those meetings. I have successfully taught in the upper, middle and lower grades as well as a district wide substitute teacher, teaching in both middle and elementary schools.
