Doris was hired as a caregiver for my mother and she loved Doris' compassion, sense of humor and dedication. They thoroughly enjoyed each others company as they were both highly intelligent and sociable yet respectful of each other. A few years later after my mothers demise at age 95 my sister began suffering from dementia and the only person we wanted to care for her was Doris. Not only did Doris provide services for day to day living, she did so in a manner far in excess of what is expected of a professional assistant. Once my sisters house and property were to be sold, i could not face placing her in a nursing home. Seeing my dilemma, Doris took my sister into her own home and cared for her until she passed away. Doris is a unique and special person who takes pleasure in helping others. I cannot praise this kind, bright and responsible individual enough.
