Initially hiring Doris, her profile stated non-smoking. We immediately addressed this with her as she smelled of smoke, she is a smoker. We only needed two hour shifts, too feed our mother dinner, go for a walk with her, and be a companion on evenings we couldn’t be with her. On three separate occasions, she cancelled being there 1-2 hours before her shift. On final day after 4 months, she quit an hour before shift indefinitely. Really put us in a bind. Unfortunately she isn’t reliable.
