I have a passion for caring for those with special needs. I spent many years working as a professional clown and gained the most gratifying experiences through working with those with special needs. I take pride in my ability to connect with and respect those with differences, as I have lived the majority of my life with hearing aids. I cared for a teenage girl with down syndrome for quite some time and enjoyed each day I was able to spend with her and aid her in daily activities. Presently, I care for a 13-year-old autistic boy occasionally in my home. I enjoy experiencing life through his perspective and the happiness and joy he shares with me and all those around him.
