About Donna

I am a grandmother of 8. I've had guardianship of two of my grandchildren in the past. I cared for them for 18 months. I have taken classes and attended conferences on childcare, through DCFS. I've also had three other grandchildren live in my home for 2 years and cared for them while their mother worked. I was paid through Illinois' Childcare Initiative. While in college, years ago, I worked for a babysitting agency that sent their staff on assignments in homes and hotels. I worked for them in Columbus, OH, for approximately 3 years. I believe I am extraordinary with children because I am caring, nurturing and love arts and crafts. Currently I am a jewelry-making instructor and sell jewelry in a local boutique, while being a caregiver to my spouse.
