About Dominique

I recently moved back to the area and am seeking childcare opportunities. My ample experience with kids in both childcare settings and as a counselor make me a uniquely qualified candidate for any childcare position. I worked as a child trauma counselor for children of all ages for five years. This experience provided me with an astute ability to connect emotionally with children, understand their needs, and help them to feel safe. I have obtained a Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology, during which time I worked as a babysitter and nanny for various families. While studying for my Bachelors, I worked at a daycare for four years. I have a year of experience providing behavioral therapy to children and teens with autism and/or developmental disabilities, in addition to caring for kids with special needs in nannying settings. I have adored developing strong bonds with children throughout my life.
