About Doma

I began my experience as a babysitter when I was 17. I started my experience by babysitting on occasional date nights for parents who planned a night out together. I progressed with my childcare experience by enrolling in the Early Childhood Education program in high school. I successfully completed the two year program, that involved teaching in a preschool setting (2-5 years) and caring for babies in the daycare program (2 mos.-1 year). During my first year of college, I worked at the YMCA daycare on a full time basis as a substitute teacher. This position allowed me to work in all of the different classrooms with many different age groups. The classroom ages ranged from 2 months to school aged. I have gained an abundance of experience within my two years of working there. I am lucky to be able to continue my love for babysitting through Care. com.
