About Dolores

I worked with children with various disabilities along side the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists and the Special Ed Teacher for 20+ years in a public PSD classroom. I have used Signs and PECS to aide in communication. Behavior training, developmentally appropriate practices and disabilities education were ongoing through the years. I've toilet trained numerous children in addition to teaching self help skills. I ran a family daycare in my home prior to working in the school system. I have loved children and loved nurturing them as long as I can remember. In my free time I like reading, jigsaw puzzles, being in the pool, hiking, walks along the beach, and gardening. I like to be outdoors. I don't mind messy projects. I'm organized and good at problem solving. I will bring these qualities to give your child a fun, memorable experience.
