About Dianne

My name is Marie. I am a master teacher with over 20 years experience, and the proud parent of three children. I teach in a rigorous school setting which prepares students for upper tier college entry, and I provide tutoring services as well. My areas of content mastery include English and History (reading comprehension. research, writing, grammar/spelling/syntax), the Sciences and Mathematics (Chemistry, Biology, Earth and Environmental Science, Elementary through College level math.) I also have experience in preparing students for standardized exams including: the Common Core, Regents, the ACT, PSAT/SAT, SAT subject tests, and of course the TACHS, SSAT, ISEE, and CTP4 exams needed for entrance into private and catholic schools. I also work with my older tutees on the college applications and provide academic advisement to families. But, what I am most proud of is that my tutees emerge as confident students and test takers who enter their respective exams feeling prepared to do their best. As an ivy league graduate and master teacher, I truly understand the need to find excellent academic support, enrichment and test preparation which fits your child's learning needs and supports the needs of families.
