About Diane

I am the eldest of three children. My mother had an in-home daycare for most of my childhood and teen years, so I was always helping out or watching the children on my own as I got older. I have always been around children. I was the 'go to' babysitter of the family. In 2006 I was a teacher at a daycare for 4 years; for 3 of those years, I was lead teacher of my own classroom. I was the care provider for 10 1-year-olds at that time. I have extensive formal training in early childhood development. Most of my training is toddler/infant based, but I have had experience with older children, school age and preteen as well. I am also certified in CPR and first aid. Before and during my job at the daycare, I was a personal nanny/babysitter. In 2010 I started nursing school and in 2012 I graduated. I am a licensed Vocational Nurse.
