Currently placed full time with a wonderful family Monday thru Friday. I have recently re-certified with the Red Cross for Adult/Child/Infant First Aid/CPR/AED, Red Cross Advanced Childcare Certification, and Red Cross Water Safety for parents and Caregivers. I am an educator and mom with a Bachelors Degree in History from SUNY New Paltz and a Masters degree in Secondary Education from Mount Saint Mary College. I am a former Adjunct Professor of US History and Sociology. I love children of all ages and have 2 of my own. I enjoy both outdoor and indoor healthy activities. I have my own transportation and enjoy taking children to The Walkway Over the Hudson, The Zoo and The Maritime Aquarium. However if you prefer your children remain home, outdoor walks "adventures," making our own playdoh, or pizza dough is always very fun too. As a certified teacher, I have also passed an FBI fingerprint background check as part of that certification from the State of New York.

Any family would be lucky to have Devon. She is one of the the most reliable people I know, and did such an amazing job with my son from age 4 months to almost 1.5 years. Not only is Devon amazing with all the basics like play and reading, but she always went above and beyond for us to make sure our son was well taken care of. Whether it be helping me clip his nails (toddlers are like octopuses!) to helping me make him healthy lunches, Devon was always there to help and share advice from her own experience. I honestly don't have anything negative to say, Devon is one of those people who exceeded expectations I didn't even knew I had! Your only problem will be finding a caregiver to match in the future.
