About Destenie

Hello! My name is Destenie and I'm 23 years old. I'm very excited about Care.com because babysitting has always been my favorite job/thing to do. I have been babysitting children since the 8th grade. I started by babysitting my siblings, family members children, my neighbors children and then my friends' children. I have babysat a range of ages; from a 3-week-old infant to pre-teens. I have done AM care including morning baths, breakfast, getting dressed to dinner, bath and bedtime. I love playing with children and I am not scared of getting down on the floor to play. I love to do activities that they enjoy, but also educating at the same time. I also have babysat a lot of kids who have a hard time when their parents leave; therefore I believe I do an excellent job with comforting children. I've actually received other babysitting jobs because parents would tell their friends about how understanding and consoling I am. I'm open, committed, and will obey all and any of your suggestions, opinions, and rules you have with your kids. I'm all about safety! I am a senior nursing student at La Salle and am currently taking a break to help out with family needs. I'm CPR certified, have FBI clearance, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, and papers stating I am drug free! I also have a clean driving record. I also do not smoke. I'm a dependable, professional, trustworthy, loving, caring, reliable, an honest person and I am very flexible with hours.
