About Desirea

I've worked with kids from 3 months- 12years old (a 4-year-old, most recently) and the skills I've learned from this are: to stay positive/calm at all times, cooking (when needed), baking, to entertain little ones by singing, dancing and playing as needed, how to follow instructions well, work well under pressure, to always come prepared (i. e. first-aid kit, fidget toys, favorite music of the child/children), how to make simple tasks seem fun (putting on sunscreen, nap time, chores, etc.) & how to diffuse tantrums quickly. I'm currently working with seniors as a caregiver in a assisted living facility but hopefully would be able to go part time there to make you a priority!
