About Deniz

I am a fun loving, empathetic, and creative caretaker who loves playing with kids and doing arts and crafts. I am good with animals, and have caretaking experience, and enjoy doing minimal housework such as dusting and vacuuming. I enjoy a variety of play, no matter if the activity is board games, video games, or even just dancing. I love teaching children and guiding them through new experiences. As someone with a bachelor's in psychology, I care about a child's mental health as much as their physical well-being. I am very aware of and up to date with safety hazards and concerns especially of those involving children and know first aid/CPR. I have experience from taking care of my little cousin and with her found that I can communicate with children even with language barriers. I do not baby talk; I talk to children like they are small adults and treat them as such (within reason), to further expand their communication and behavioral regulation skills.
