About Denise

I have 19 years experience a teacher, gaining experience working with diverse students in the public and private schools in NYC and Westchester County. Along with my extensive classroom experience, I completed my Masters of Science and received teaching certificates in both elementary and special education. As an experience educator, I am highly attuned to the fact each child is an individual with his/her own teaching styles and needs. Each student enters my classrooms with a different background and a variety of life of experience. By understanding the individual's background, abilities and interests, I am able to tailored lessons that build on the child's experience of the world and stimulate the student to become an active participant in learning.
