About Demaca

I am a 52-year-old mother of a 27-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son. My professional expertise is in administration and document management; however, watching my mother operate a home daycare for 20 years, I have learned a lot about raising children. And, I have been taking care of children for family and friends for over 35 years. I love every child I come in contact with just like my own. I have been a big sister of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program for 10 years. I know that I will make a great caregiver because as a mother, I know the importance of leaving your children with someone you can truly trust. Also, I am an English and Language Arts Tutor. I have been tutoring elementary children in ELA for 7 years. I have worked in learning centers in the metro Atlanta area and now I tutor privately in-home. I have a special ability to become comfortable with any child so that they can become comfortable with me. I like to make learning both fun and rewarding.
