About Deidre

I have 7 years experience in caring for children. I simply adore children. I love story time, play time and arts and crafts. I'm a kid a heart. I am best described as a positive, compassionate, and happy soul. With a passion for life, my philosophy has always been to learn by doing. I believe in setting firm boundaries and always being a good example for children. The main reason for this is that I have come to realize that someone's child- somewhere, is always watching and will emulate my behavior. Outside of child care, I enjoy taking dance classes regularly as a way to maintain and improve my overall fitness and emotional health. I strive to always enrich my human experience by connecting with others in one way or another, as no person is mean to experience life alone. Lastly, as someone with a creative spirit, I love engaging in stimulating hands on sensory activities, which I have found to be absolutely necessary when engaging children.
