Caregiver for both in-laws who had Alzheimer's at the same time. I was my husband's caregiver, again Alzheimers. Have volunteered for Pathways Hospice for almost two years (still active) doing end of life care, specializing in Alzheimers care, and also many other terminal illnesses. I have been CPR and AED certified prior to moving to Colorado. I would need to be re-certified in Colorado. I also provide caregiver relief for families. I have a heart especially for seniors. I promise to treat them as if they were my own Mom or Dad. I have worked with patients from young to old, male and female, at home or in skilled nursing facilities or assisted living facilities, with many different illnesses, from stroke, Parkinson's, cancer, Alzheimer's/ dementia, end stage renal disease, cerebral palsy, other neurological illnesses, autoimmune diseases such as RA, MS, etc. References provided upon request.
