About Deanna

I'd describe my personality as kind, energetic, resourceful. I like working with kids because they are so inquisitive. I enjoy watching as they engage in new or old experiences in a new way. I'm looking for a part time position that I can help children grow and explore. I own my SUV, licensed & insured. Pickup or dropoff. Attentive listener and communicator. I feel it is important that the parents are informed of the child's day. I started working with kids in 2003 in public schools with children ages 4-13 helping in kitchen, playground, reading intervention and teacher assistant. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 2 small dogs, family, friends. Hobbies include gardening, hiking, camping, sewing, meeting up with friends, and party planning. One thing you should know about me is I am honest. My skills include engaging with children on their level, routine & structure, redirecting, respectful of others and the world. Practicing kindness, compassion, tolerance and love.
