About Deanna

Hello! I have babysat for several years. I have also been a nanny for a family of 4 children 2-12 about 15 years ago now. I have taught two years as a preschool teacher and been a teachers assistant for 5+ years both in day care and preschool classrooms. I have also been a substitute for the Limestone area grade schools for 15 years, and worked a couple summers for the Pekin YWCA. I know some parents like to have their kiddos in programs, but I also know (through experience in these programs) that sometimes kids just need a break from being away from home and just want to relax and have fun on their own terms. That's where I come in! In the past, I've taken kids on trips to the zoo, chuck e cheese, the park, roller skating, ice skating, picnics, the pool, the library, as well as relaxing days at home doing stuff around the house or the backyard. I love to cook, so if you supply the food, I would love to cook for the kiddos according to their tastes.
