About Dawn

I am patient, compassionate, and understanding. I have good communication skills, as well as knowledge of medical conditions that are common in older adults and CPR certified. I'm passionate about keeping the elderly in their homes because it's where they thrive. I worked as an Activity Director for over a year and a half in 2013, where I planned and implemented activities that would interest my residents, such as bingo, cards, bowling, lunch outings, and good conversations. I also have 4 years of experience volunteering in nursing homes. Recently, I cared for my autistic cousin for 3 weeks who was diagnosed with Leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant in January . During my stay, I administered and organized medication, took him to doctor's appointments, and prepared meals. I am excited to find out what needs are in my area.
