Hi, my name is Darby. I am currently a high school student but where I lack age, I make up for with experience and care. In school, I am an honors student with almost entirely A's. I have been a mother's helper and babysitter for over three years now and I not only do it for the college money but also for the job itself considering my love of babies and children. I have much experience with babies as young as 2 weeks old to as old as children of 12, so that should not be a concern. Considering my age my hours are limited to mostly evenings, weekends and summertime. If you would still need me when the school year is back my hours would change. I have been previously CPR and First Aid certified (adult, child and infant) and I have gotten it renewed again at the end of April, so I have had it for three plus years and I know the skills well. I have worked with little ones since I can even remember. My mother has been a special needs teacher for 30 years. I have volunteered at her school and with her students for over seven years now. Beyond that I have babysat for a handful of different families with a multitude of different needs. I do not know if you are looking for someone who has nursing qualifications or otherwise differing from my credentials. I completely understand if you are looking for someone more qualified but none the less I think I could be a really great fit for this job. I am willing to learn any skills you would like me to have and more than anything, I would love to interact with your child and entertain them for you.
