I went to school for Early Childhood Education to be a music teacher, but have since focused on working with kids with special needs like ASD and behavioral diagnoses. I have 18 years of experience working with kids of all ages in diverse settings such as classrooms, daycares, after-school programs, 1-to-1 guidance, in-home music lessons, tutoring, mentoring, and nannying. I also have several years of experience as an in-home caregiver for young adults with special needs such as epilepsy, cereberal palsy, ASD, etc. I'm positive, upbeat, energetic, creative, fun. Always looking for a creative way to make a situation into a game or get more fun engagement/cooperation with the kids. My experience is very diverse, allowing me to do many things effectively: I can tutor troublesome homework subjects, prepare a delicious & healthy meal according to someone's taste (and in accordance with mom's standards), mentor young men in social relationships, provide games and fun activities.
