About Daniel

I enjoy helping to instill a routine or uphold a routine, while working with each individual kids' preference and personality. I love doing arts and crafts, baking, or setting up fun activities for the kids (think water park in the backyard in the summer). I also find it rewarding to help the kids with homework, studying strategies, and finding the joy in everyday activities. Oh, and as a bonus, I tend to clean up/organize when the kids are watching TV or asleep! I'd describe my personality as charismatic, understanding, and flexible. I started working with kids when I was in high school, babysitting for a family with 13 kids, generally watching about 6 or 7 at a time. One thing you should know about me is I am deaf, but speak English, and am adept at reading lips. I enjoy helping others understand, recognize, and celebrate differences.
