About Dana

I'd describe my personality as caring, introspective, and engaging. I like working with kids because I appreciate their innocence and I enjoy caring for them. I'm looking for a job where I can form a bond with a child, where I can help care for them, and have fun together. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. At that time, I was a member of a church and babysat for several of the families there. I babysat when I lived in New York City post-college. Though I now have a full time job, I miss spending time with little ones. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks, work out, dance, spend time with friends, listen to music, and journal. One thing you should know about me is that I'm on the soft spoken side. I enjoy caring with kids who are a little more mellow, which is why my preference is for younger children. My skills include calming children down, making up games to play, and putting kids to sleep.
