About Dana

Hi, I'm Dana! I'm a substitute preschool teacher with a BS in early childhood education. Prior to teaching, I worked primarily as a nanny. I love trying new recipes, crafting and spending time in the mountains. I believe in taking a gentle approach with children, utilizing age-appropriate conversations and logical consequences. I aim to take a proactive approach to managing behaviors; this includes establishing enjoyable routines, guiding while providing opportunities for autonomy, and building emotional regulation skills.
