About Dana

Hello! I'm Dana, a 60-year-old woman with lots of experience in childcare. I have been in the caregiver business since 1982 and have taken care of children from the ages of newborn to teen as well as working with seniors in both a nursing home setting and via in-home care. I have been a nanny for families that have a single child and also large families, including ones with multiples, namely twins. I am a detailed-oriented and observant person with the wisdom, patience and compassion of the older generation. Don't let my age fool you, though, because I keep busy in my daily life and am nowhere near ready to retire. Over the last 4 decades I have worn many hats, so to speak, but my all-time favorite has been that of mom to my six now grown children and grandma to my one grandchild. I have always found joy in caring for others and I strive to help make the lives of busy parents just a little bit easier by taking on tasks around the house along with caring for their precious children.
