About Cynthia

I have a degree in Gerontology. I have worked in 3 different retirement communities for a total of 12 years mainly office work, but had plenty of interaction with the residents. I enjoy talking with the elderly and I'm a good listener; always interested in learning about their lives; their upbringing, family life, interests, etc. I enjoy reading, playing board games, watching movies. I am a patient person; do not have a problem with anyone moving slowly or forgetfulness. Although I have never worked with a senior one on one I believe I could enjoy this type of work and family members do not need to be concerned that I wouldn't understand how to interact with their loved one. I am looking for a place to move and a job and this would be a great way to be able to accomplish both things.
