About Cyndy

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, welcoming and witty. I love tutoring because I've witnessed the "AHA" moments that help build a student's confidence in their abilities. I started tutoring in 2021 when the opportunity to become a math tutor presented itself while I was a pediatric medical assistant. I knew I was comfortable working with k-12, I knew math was my strong suit, the combination of both of them was the perfect job for me. In my spare time, I volunteer as a running coach for grades 3rd-8th. I'm an avid reader and I like to work on my own coding projects. Now that the weather is warmer I enjoy long walks. One thing you should know about me is I pride myself in getting students out of their shell. I like to create strong bonds with them beyond them seeing me as just their tutor. I have a degree in Computer Science and Chemistry. Although my experience is with math and SAT prep I am comfortable aiding in STEM related fields and Spanish.
