I have worked with older adults in various settings throughout my schooling as well as within an internship at a Veterans facility. While working at the Veterans hospital, I spent the majority of my time working in the nursing home/hospice unit and truly fell in love with this line of work. Nothing is more rewarding than returning dignity to the life of an older adult who is in need of care. I feel it extremely important to treat all people with respect and compassion.
