I have been a certified lifeguard for three years through the city of Phoenix. I am what you call an advanced lifeguard. This means that I have all the required certifications such as CPR/AED, First Aid, plus my water safety instructor certification. I started teaching lessons to children because it is so important for people to learn how to swim. Not to be blunt, but many children die everyday because of drowning accidents.
