About Cornelia

I am a Georgia Tech college student currently taking a break from school and living in Philadelphia. My tutoring experience started in high school where I was part of a club at my school that offered free tutoring services to other high school students, and I also have worked at Kumon, an after school K-8 advanced learning center, teaching students math and English concepts and grading their work. I then worked at an outdoor learning school where I was a teacher for groups of students coming up with their schools for the week to learn about science. Since then I have had several tutoring jobs and often help kids I'm babysitting with schoolwork. I am most comfortable tutoring English, Math (up to high school math), and Social Studies/History. Because my range of experience is pretty wide, I feel comfortable setting up a more informal learning atmosphere that centers learning good study practices and getting excited about information, or a more structure and precise one.
