I started helping in a daycare down the road from where I lived at the age of 11, during the summer. After two summers, I received my first babysitting job. I babysat children until I graduated high school, then went off to college. A couple of years later, I started working as a one on one aide for a handicapped little girl in an early intervention pre-school. After some time, I started working in the company daycare. I worked with all age groups from 8 weeks-5 years old. I also worked the summer camp for 5-12-year-olds for a couple of summers. I then moved to school aged children and adults for the same organization. All of them with disabilities. Somewhere in between having two children of my own five years apart. When my youngest was about one, I began working in public school as a teacher's aide then becoming a Certified Level 3 Teaching Assistant. I cook, clean, and am crafty. I would consider most Care Gigs that comes my way except overnights.
