I am a dog mom to a little rescued pitbull mix named Ryder, have a family shepherd named Magnolia along with a all-black cat named echo. I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Both my dogs are off leash trained and come to work with me every day, where they encounter people, equipment, and all types of different distractions. When I was looking for a dog to rescue, I saw in her description that she was abandoned with her brother in an apartment and timid, needed someone patient and to be homed with another dog. I am thankful enough to be able to take her to work with me and give her the training, attention and love she needs. The first two weeks she wouldn't even walk, I had to carry her everywhere. She was beyond scared of people but mainly men, we come to find out she was also abused. A year and half later she has gained trust in strangers and only a handful of male family members. Moral of the story, I love all animals and believe we need to give them the best life possible.
