I have worked as a nanny for about 14 years. I have experience with newborns and twins. Generally, I have remained with the families until the children begin to go to school. I teach them manners, to share and play in the backyard. We work and play with art, play dough, drawing and painting and I teach them some Spanish when the parents want to. I also design a routine schedule for meals, naps, play time, clean-up, etc. I always consult with the parents any change in their meals or activities we are going to participate in and if they agree, I do them. For me the most important thing is the welfare of the children and giving them a lot of love, especially when the parents are not home, so they will not feel sad. Usually, I keep them busy and give them several options to choose from. I like to keep the eating, play areas and their rooms clean and in order.
