About Connie

I am a credentialed, multiple subject teacher with a Masters in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University. I am experienced in integrative curriculum, project based learning and universal design for learning to make education engaging for my students. I have tutored and taught teens and adults for 18 years, and have spent the last 5 years working in the classroom with students K-6th grades. I also have experience working with baby's to pre-teens for over 20 years, starting with being a nursery assistant at my church since I was about 13 years old. Since that time I babysat, tutored and taught horseback riding lessons as well as volunteered with the 4-H organization all before becoming a teacher. I love children and helping them discover their talents and passions!
