About Colleen

I'd describe my personality as light hearted and empathetic with a healthy dose of inquisitiveness. I like tutoring because I love learning and sharing the joy of knowledge with others. As someone who struggled with studying growing up I know sometimes it's the last thing we want to do, but that doesn't mean we can't find ways to enjoy it! I started tutoring when I was in high school. I would lead study groups and also do sessions one on one with my friends. This carried on into college, where I was able to branch out more. In my spare time, I like to immerse myself in creativity. From music to literature to my silly little paintings, creating is my favorite thing. One thing you should know about me is I am a highly empathetic and understanding person. I lead with kindness and like to meet people where they're at before lifting you up! My skills include essay writing and editing, study skills for a wide range of subjects as well as the creative arts such as drama and music.
