Miss Claudia worked with our daughter when she was about 1.5 years old until she was pre-school age. It is no surprise that Claudia formerly operated her own daycare center because her nanny skills are second to none. Although a short review is insufficient to capture all her wonderful qualities, let me highlight a few. First, and most important, Claudia absolutely loves children, which was apparent by the kindness, affection, patience, and dedication that she showed our daughter. Claudia is more than a nanny; she is a teacher. She routinely had activities planned to help our daughter prepare for pre-school. Some of the things our daughter learned while being cared for by Claudia are, the days of the week, the weather, the seasons, shapes, counting to ten, and the alphabet. Many of the activities also helped develop our daughter’s fine motor skills. Furthermore, Claudia recognized the importance of body movement. She often took our daughter for nature walks, trips to the playground, or engaged in games that provided our daughter with her daily exercise needs. When it was time to potty train our daughter, Claudia was very involved in the process and asked a lot of questions to ensure that she was reinforcing the plan we set in place. Second, Claudia is a good person with high morals. Every day, she did a million little things that showed just how honest, trustworthy, responsible, and dependable she is. We had no reservations about letting her take our daughter on field trips away from our home each day, and she never once disappointed us with any mishaps that occurred along the way. Third, Claudia is extremely hardworking. Let’s face it – childcare is difficult. Claudia worked with our daughter four days a week from early in the morning until after the business day was over. She never called in sick or took a day off without sufficient notice. We knew we could always count on her. All of this is to say that Claudia is truly a special person. It is no exaggeration to say that our daughter loves her. We will always consider Claudia a part of our family and hope she will remain in our daughter’s life as she grows up. We have no complaints or anything bad to say about her whatsoever. Claudia is everything we could have hoped for and more. Our only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner. Whichever family is fortunate enough to work with Miss Claudia next should thank their lucky stars. Sylvia
