I took certified nursing assistant classes and geriatric nursing classes back in 1982 when I lived in Florida at that time I worked in the nursing home for 3 years I moved back home to Salisbury and continued nursing at Dorchester General Hospital and It was Pennisula General at the time now Tidal Health through an agency also some private sitting I did this part -time while I did daycare I also did foster I retired for awhile but for the last 4 years I have been taking care of my mother she had a stroke which paralyzed her, she was total care I had to use the Hoyer lift to get her in and out of bed she just died Nov. 25th last month. I enjoyed taking care of Mom it was very rewarding she always told me how happy she was and she appreciated me taking care of her I would like the opportunity to help someone else that needs good care
