I worked at the Garden House in Morro Bay for 6 months, from April until October of 2021 where I worked over 600 hours. In my time there I became very familiar with all levels of care, and became proficient in administering medication, feeding, showering, dental care and first aid. I love working with older adults and find great joy in being around them. My grandmother was a hospice nurse and I am currently studying Kinesiology at Cal Poly. I am hoping to go into nursing in the future and am definitely considering working with older adults.
