About Claire

Hello, my name is Claire and I am an ESL teacher in Philadelphia. Prior to this job, I have spent the past two years teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. In 2019, I graduated from Penn State where I studied Early Childhood Education (PK-4). I have babysat for the past 8 years, ages ranging from 1-year-old to 12 years old. I am very passionate about helping others and understanding children. I have had experience in classrooms, schools and other childcare settings while working with children. I am an avid swimmer, runner, educator, and friend! I love to be a positive role model in young children's lives. I am looking for a tutoring position 2-3 times/week to assist a primary-aged child with reading, writing, and math. My clearances are up to date and I have been vaccinated since January 2020.
