About Christy

In the process of life, I have been able to care for my own Grandmother, which led me to caring for the parents and grandparents of other people. I have seen first hand the types of things that are needed, and the progression of different levels of care both medically and emotionally. Because of my experience as a Montessori teacher, I have been reading about Montessori type interactions for people who have dementia, and that has caused me to want to learn more. It is my goal to just be helpful in my community, providing help where I can, with compassion and humility. I hope to meet people where they are, physically, cognitively, and emotionally, and to meet their unique needs.
