I have 15 years of experience with helping clients in their homes. My experience includes working with dressing, bathing, light meal prep, light housekeeping, and companion care. I spent the majority of my caregiving working one-on-one with persons who had dementia and needed monitoring for safety, cueing and assistance with ADLs. I began this work thru agencies, then found it a better fit with working with one family at a time. I have worked 3 caregiving jobs this way, at 3-year, 5-year, and 7-year durations. My most recent job (7 years) was with a woman with dementia and DS. The reference on my page is from that. I work with clients who are full or partially weight bearing. I am seeking a steady weekly shift. I have a primary part-time job that I also love, which allows for slight flexibility as long as plenty of notice.
